Spring snow has a very dense upright oval crown. It is one of the most showy white flowered crabs with very abunant flowers that are slightly larger than most crabs. It does not produce fruit which is a valuable trait for planting by patios or over sidewalks. Requires full sun, tolerant to a fairly wide range of soil conditions. Prune to remove suckers and watersprouts. Has very good resistance to cedar apple rust and mildew.
