Own root hybrid, teas, grandifloras and floribundas.  Easier to maintain, they're roses for a new generation ofrose buyers!  Introducing the latest rose technology from Jackson & Perkins.

New Generation roses are Hybrid Tea and Grandiflora roses that are grown on their own roots, rather than being grown on a different variety of rootstock.  That's great news for customers in cold climates,  because New Generation roses can thrive in cold weather.  When grafted roses are planted without protection from freezing, the grafted cultivar can die, while the rootstock variety below the bud union will survive and grow suckers that produce less desirable flowers.

Because New Generation roses are grown on their own root system, there's no bud union.  If the plant freezes, its roots rejuvenate the bush, stimulating new growth and flowers that are true-to-type.  This makes for a very vigorous, cold hardy plant on a much deeper, healthier root system, with more blooms per branch and more branches per bush.

New Generation roses are:
    Great for cold weather regions.
    Naturally better growers.
